Geumsansa Temple Stay

April has been flying by in a whirl wind of adventure...
My time is coming to an end here in Korea and it's ending on a high note. :)
Here are some of my favorite photos from my temple stay at Geumsansa.
This temple has been around for 1411 years...

The process of making a lotus lantern teaches you patience.
This temple is over 500 years old.

 Our Monk "Stone Head."

 Buddhist Breakfast Ceremony.
Prayer beads. I bowed 108 times to make this.

All in all, I highly recommend that everyone goes on a temple stay if you are in Korea.
I have a new appreciation for Buddhist and Korean culture.

  1. Hello! Yesterday I received a set of prayer beads identical to the set on your site, right down to the aum on the guru bead. They were a gift with no description. Please, what are they made of? They feel very nice.
